Turn off background blurring when logging in on Windows 10

On Windows 10 May 2019 version, Microsoft brought the Fluent Design interface to some components in Settings, or the application is available. However, some users do not like the background blur mode when logging in

DISABLE BACKGROUND DIMMING WITH SETTINGS

  • In Settings (Press Windows + I key combination) > Personalization
  • Click the Colors tab > Turn it off in the Transparency effects mode .

After you have completed the above steps, the background image when you log on to Windows 10 will no longer fade. However, the blur or transparent effect of the entire application or settings will disappear. If you just want to turn off dimming when logging in, do the following.

DISABLE BACKGROUND BLURRING WITH FILE REG

  • Note: Apply for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise, Home

The task is quite simple, download one of the two .reg files you created below.

After downloading, right-click and choose Merge, click Run> Yes. A bulletin board appears, click YES

That’s it, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
