Apple has released the official iOS 13.1 update to all users sooner than expected on September 30. With some minor upgrades in the system, and fixes errors arising from previous versions. This is a comprehensive list of new changes and features included with this update.

NEW CHANGES AND FEATURES ON THE IOS 13.1

Shortcut keys

  • The recommended automation item in Gallery is personalized according to your daily routine
  • Personal and home automation items to automatically run shortcuts based on trigger conditions
  • Home application support for shortcuts as advanced tasks in the Automation tab

Shortcuts have an Automation section

If you use Shortcuts a lot, you will like the Automation section. For example, when you leave home and go to work, Siri will open music + open a map or something, depending on how you’ve set up before.

Battery status

  • The battery charger is optimized to slow down the aging rate of the battery by reducing the amount of time iPhone uses to be fully charged
  • Performance management feature for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max to prevent device from powering off unexpectedly, including the option to turn it off if there is a sudden power off
  • Notice when Battery Status cannot verify that iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and newer have genuine Apple batteries

Adjust the volume showing the device icon

When your iPhone is connected to a bluetooth device, the volume control will show you. For example, when connecting to AirPods or Beats headphones, it will display the image of that product.

New Dynamic wallpaper

  • go to Settings – Wallpaper – choose Dynamic will show some new wallpapers, though monochromatic but quite beautiful. Especially when you move the iPhone, the bright circular areas will move in the form of water bubbles

AirDrop

Font

Go to Settings – General settings – Fonts. This will display the section that leads to the App Store for you to download fonts to your iPhone.
