macOS Catalina (10.15) has officially launched, specially integrated in parallel with iPadOS so that users can combine iPad and Mac to work together.
This is a list of devices that support macOS Catalina:
MacBook (12 “) 2015 or later
MacBook Air 2012 and above
MacBook Pro 2012 and above
Mac Mini 2012 and above
iMac 2012 and above
iMac Pro 2017 (all models)
Mac Pro 2013 or later
In short, most Mac devices from 2011 and below will no longer be able to upgrade to the new OS in the future
