Apple Music has officially been updated with high quality music up to 24bit-192kHz.
Apple also equips Spatial Audio for its service.
However, in order to experience the highest quality, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings on iPhone, iPad
- Select Music > Audio Quality > Turn On in Lossless Audio
- Select High-Resolution Lossless in the categories to hear the highest quality
Particularly for Cellular Streaming, you should choose High Quality (AAC 256 kbps) because this quality is optimal with AAC codec as well as ensuring space saving.
Turn on Spatial Audio in Apple Music
- Go to Settings on iPhone, iPad
- Select Music > Dolby Atmos
- Choose Automatic: Apple Music will automatically play Spatial Audio if you own AirPods Pro, AirPods Max
- Select Always On: To play Spatial Audio on speakers or headphones that support Dolby Atmos such as some soundbar models, game headsets
