How to install Windows 10 without an ISO

Microsoft has simply launched a new feature referred to as Reset this computer from the Cloud – which permits users to install home windows with fully downloaded files from Microsoft servers, without having to download extra ISO set up files. The gain of this selection is that the device will not eat an excessive amount of space (approximately 2.8GB) and the speed will arise faster

Microsoft also noted that with the Windows 10 20H1 update, the Reset this PC from the Cloud feature will not work in case your Windows has set some of the following optional features:

"EMS and SAC toolkit for Windows 10, IrDA, Print Management Console, RAS Connection Manager Administration Kit (CMAK), RIP Listener, all RSAT, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Windows Fax and Scan, Windows Storage Management, Wireless Display, WMI SNMP Provider ".

This selection was launched for checking out for the first time in windows 10 build 20H1 18970, and is scheduled to be delivered to international customers in Q1 2020

  • If you have already downloaded and installed the Windows 10 20H1 18970 build
  • Go to Settings> Update & Security> click the Recovery tab
  • There will be 3 options, those who have cleaned up Windows 10 with Cleanup will have 2 options: Reset this PC and Advanced Startup
  • Click Get started under Reset this PC, Windows will have two options for you: Keep my files and Remove everything. This depends on your choice, select Keep my files so as not to lose data on other drives
  • Windows allows you to choose two options: “Cloud download” – reinstall via Microsoft server and Local Reinstall – local reinstall). Click on Cloud download
  • Next, just click Reset to confirm the installation is complete. The device will automatically reboot and start installing Windows 10
