After Checkra1n jailbreak iOS 12.3 – 13.2.2 was released, it appeared Bybass iCloud with this tool, which helps activate the iPhone without going through the security account verification step.
Bybass iCloud process is done via SSH connection after jailbreaking the device by checkra1n, from which you can access the system to delete the setup.app file to skip the account authentication step when activating the device.
Install Homebrew if you don’t have brew install libimobiledevice
Connect iPhone (iOS 12.3 – 13.2.2) to Mac> Open Checkra1n Tool and conduct jailbreak with checkra1n
After successful jailbreak, iPhone displays the activation screen as usual, open 2 Terminal tabs and enter the following commands:
Terminal Tab 1: iproxy 2222 44 [device udid]
Terminal Tab 2: ssh root @ localhost -p 2222
mount -o rw, union, update /
rm -rf /Applications/Setup.app
uicache -a
killall backboardd
iPhone will automatically switch to the main screen without account verification when activated.
checkra1n is a new jailbreak tool that uses hardware vulnerabilities, supports iOS 12.3 to 13.2.2 and does not need to access the main screen like other jailbreak tools. This helps to unlock the device even when the phone is locked!
Currently there is not much reliable information about this Bybass iCloud way, the author also recommends that the Bybass iCloud with Checkra1n jailbreak is done for research and reference purposes only. The device after activating also can not work normally, is limited to a lot of other things like:
- No network service
- Can’t sign in to new iCloud
- Not accepting SIM
- Can’t make a call
- Can connect to WiFi
- Can receive SMS?
- Cannot use network connection via 3G / 4G
- Not showing the exact time
- There is no iMessage
- No iTunes
- Could not connect to Apple Watch
- Unable to install new profile
- Active in unactivated state!
- There are no other Apple services
